The Airbus A350-900 operated by Air France with registration F-HTYH was damaged while attempting to land at Toronto-Pearson Airport on January 21, 2024. The plane suffered a so-called tailstrike.

During the first landing attempt, the aircraft coming from Paris-Charles de Gaulle made contact with the surface of runway 24L in the tail area. The pilots decided on a go-around maneuver and were able to take off safely on the second attempt. The machine suffered damage that needs to be repaired.
