Another hotel with a direct connection to the terminal will begin operations at Budapest Airport in 2025.

Following the success of the gateway's first airport hotel, the Ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel, which opened its doors in 2018, the development will further raise the Hungarian capital's profile and strengthen its competitiveness in the region.

Developed by Wing, the Hungarian market leader in commercial property development, construction work on the new TRIBE has already begun. The 8.000 m² new hotel, which will be built next to the original hotel, offers 167 rooms for business and leisure travelers as well as a 150-seat conference room, two meeting rooms, a gym and a sky bar for an outstanding dining experience with fantastic views.

The Tribe brand is at the forefront of stylish, functional design hotels at affordable prices. With the brand's signature communal facilities and contemporary design concept, the hotel's expanded offering is primarily tailored to business and transfer travelers, with an emphasis on maximum guest comfort; the spacious restaurant and lounge area can accommodate a total of 140 people, while the terrace can accommodate 60 people.

“The ibis Styles Budapest Airport Hotel developed by our group has been operating at almost full capacity since it opened and has excellent guest reviews. Based on existing guest demand and success achieved, TRIBE will open in 2025. This will be the brand's second hotel in Hungary, alongside the hotel we also developed in the mixed-use Liberty building. The existing ibis Styles and the new TRIBE will be directly connected, and the new complex will be an important milestone in the life of the airport; the development will further expand the airport infrastructure. The number of available rooms will more than double and the additional high-quality services will allow the airport to meet the needs of its guests at a higher level,” said Noah Steinberg, President and CEO of WING.
