The Serbian government has submitted a draft state budget for 2021. Among other things, this stipulates that Air Serbia will continue to be supported with government aid amounting to millions in the next year.

Nevertheless, the airline says it has to reduce its workforce in order to fly out of the crisis reasonably safely. “Given the loss of business as a result of the pandemic, the company is no longer able to bear the existing costs. We are therefore forced to introduce additional measures to reduce costs. This time, unfortunately, it hits our workforce, ”it said in a broadcast. They tried to save the jobs right up to the end. According to media reports, a total of 300 employees have to believe in it. The announced wage cuts will also come, how exyuaviation.com reported. The workforce was informed that wages will be cut from December 2020 to March 2021. An extension of this measure is quite conceivable in view of the tense situation.
