In the summer of 2022, the tour operator Tui Deutschland will increasingly rely on charter services from airlines that do not belong to the group of companies. The company's own Tuifly reduced its fleet to 22 aircraft as planned.

It is currently clear that European Air Charter, Smartlynx, Freebird Europe and Eurowings will fly on behalf of TUI Germany. According to a report by Airliners.de, the tour operator wants to use the externally purchased capacities from Friedrichshafen, Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden, Paderborn, Nuremberg, Saarbrücken, Hamburg and Berlin. The implementation takes place under the flight numbers of the respective airline and not under the X3 code of Tuifly, confirmed a company spokesman.

From Nuremberg and Saarbrücken, machines from Smartlynx are to be used. European Air Charter is used from Friedrichshafen and Freebird Europe is chartered from Paderborn. Eurowings is to fly from Hamburg and Berlin for Tui Germany. According to Airliners.de, it has not yet been determined which airline will operate the charter flights in Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden. The Polish Enterair is currently being rumored.
