TUI is expanding the recently introduced Flex tariff and is now offering full flexibility not only for flat-rate flights, but also for "hotel-only" bookings.

The desire for security and flexibility comes first when planning a trip for vacationers in 2021. It is primarily about flexible rebooking and cancellation options. As part of this, the travel company introduced the Flex tariff a few weeks ago. Customers have to dig a little deeper into their pockets. However, the planned trip can be canceled or rebooked at short notice - up to 14 days before departure. From now on, this also applies to "hotel-only" bookings. “The surcharges for the Flex tariff can be booked as an“ extra ”and apply to each travel booking. For a trip up to 2.500 euros, the surcharge compared to the normal price is 39 euros. A large family with a travel price of up to 4.000 euros can travel for an additional 69 euros at the flex tariff, for trips with a total price of up to 20.000 euros a total of 399 euros is due, ”the tourism group informs. Furthermore, all TUI and airtours trips up to and including October 2021 include "Covid Protect" insurance. This also covers the corresponding care in the event of a trip to a risk area and includes, among other things, a virtual doctor's visit, Covid test, return flight guarantee as well as hotel and treatment costs.
