TUI reacts promptly to the increasing demand for trips to the Maldives and will include the island nation in its offer again from October 27th. 

The company received many inquiries about Maldives trips not only online, but also from travel agencies. "The spacious resorts with their free-standing bungalows offer a lot of privacy and the opportunity to adhere to distance rules", says TUI Germany boss Marek Andryszak. The package tours are carried out with Lufthansa direct flights from Frankfurt, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, as the news magazine Reisevor9 reports. There are feeder flights from Düsseldorf, Munich, Hamburg and Berlin. The tour operator is also looking at "short-term opportunities to include further long-haul destinations in the program again in order to offer holidaymakers additional options in the winter months," Andryszak continued.
