Turkish Airlines and SAS end codesharing

Effective September 1, 2024, Turkish Airlines and SAS will end their codeshare cooperation.

This should have no impact on passengers with existing bookings, as only the flight numbers will change. The two airlines said they will no longer offer joint codeshare connections in the future.

The end of the cooperation with Turkish Airlines is an anticipation at SAS that it will leave the Star Alliance and join the competing Skyteam. The background is that the carrier is being taken over by a consortium that also includes Air France-KLM.
