In the future, Turkish Airlines intends to limit its freighter fleet to the Boeing 777-200F aircraft type. CFO Murat Seker told Aviation Week that there is currently no interest in the successor model, the B777-8F.
Airbus and Boeing aircraft are currently operated under the Turkish Airlines Cargo brand. There are also wet-lease jets leased from CMA-CGM Air Cargo, ULS Airlines and AirAct. In the future, Turkish Airlines would only like to have B777-200Fs for its own operations, of which it currently has eight examples.
