The airline Turkish Airlines wants to grow strongly in Germany and Europe in the coming year. You want to increase the offer by about 20 percent. This is to be accomplished primarily through the cheap brand Anadolujet.

Chairman Ahmet Bolat also told the Handelsblatt that the low-cost brand's current fleet of 70 aircraft should be expanded to 100 units as quickly as possible. Within ten years there could even be over 200 aircraft. In the coming year, they want to offer significantly more flights to Germany and other European countries than Anadolujet and also to fill gaps left by Ryanair, Easyjet and Lufthansa.

Recently it became known that the wet lease cooperation between Turkish Airlines and the holding SunExpress is terminated. The last-named carrier will use the capacity on its own account in the future and will expand the traffic between Turkey and the Germany-Austria-Switzerland region also off.
