Turkish celebrates its comeback in Leipzig / Halle

The airline Turkish Airlines is now again connecting Leipzig / Halle with the Istanbul hub. For the time being, four weekly circuits are carried out.

The state capital of Saxony is to be connected to the Turkish hub Istanbul on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. The "comeback flight" took place on Thursday, July 15, 2021.

Flights to Istanbul start at 11:20 a.m. on Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving at 15:20 p.m. On Fridays and Sundays, the Turkish Airlines planes take off at 18:05 p.m. in Leipzig / Halle and are expected in Istanbul at 22:05 p.m.

Turkish Airlines has been connecting Leipzig / Halle Airport with its hub in Istanbul since May 2012. Due to the pandemic, the last regular scheduled flight of Turkish Airlines landed on March 20, 2020 at Leipzig / Halle Airport.
