Tyrol’s first “digital holiday hotel” will open on August 1, 2023

In Wildschönau, the first digital holiday hotel in Tyrol goes into operation. The initiators of "Das Lenz" speak of a courageous step. Behind the project are the investors and builders Dominik Stadler, Patrick Kraisser and Michael Thaler.

However, it is not a new building, but an old building has been extensively modernized. After the renovation, this should blend in well with the landscape of the Kitzbühel Alps. The operators assert that the house should correspond to the latest findings in modern hotel construction. Digitization should play a very special role.

"What has worked for years at every airport in the world will also be possible in modern hotels," says manager Patrick Kraisser with certainty. Reservations have been accepted since April 2023 via booking platforms such as Booking.com. The customer journey should then “take care of the rest”. What exactly is meant by this was not communicated by the operator.

The opening is scheduled for August 1, 2023. Managing director Kraisser says that the booking situation should be "excellent". Furthermore, the 28 apartments are said to have already been sold to buyers from Germany and abroad. Now they can be operated as a hotel. What the guests can expect in their own statements, according to the first digital hotel in Tyrol, will then become apparent after the official commissioning.
