Ukraine has chained up two Antonov An-148-100 regional airliners. These are the two aircraft that were previously registered on the Air Ocean Airlines AOC. These were sold to Russia via a legal detour.

The General Prosecutor's Office of Ukraine accuses that a Cypriot mailbox company is said to have been abused to circumvent the sanctions. Specifically, a leasing contract with a Russian airline is said to have been concluded via this company. Therefore, the confiscation of the two Antonov An-148 was ordered.

Affected are the machines with the registrations UR-CTC and UR-CTF, which were briefly on the AOC of Air Ocean Airlines, whose AOC and operating license were revoked some time ago. These are said to have been sold to Illjuschin Finance through legal detours.
