With effect from March 24, 2021, all travelers to Ukraine must present a negative PCR test, which must not be older than 72 hours. So far, this only applied to countries that were listed in red.

Furthermore, the submission of Covid-19 insurance from an insurance company with its registered office or branch in Ukraine is mandatory for everyone. This does not apply to persons with citizenship or residence permit of Ukraine. Alternatively, they have the option of entering into quarantine.

The government of the Eastern European country expressly points out in a broadcast that foreigners (except with a residence permit) cannot enter quarantine. If the negative PCR test and / or the insurance policy is missing, a rejection can be issued at the border crossing. More information on the new entry requirements can be found at Visit Ukraine at this link.
