Unruly PAX: Ryanair Ibiza flight diverted to Mallorca

Advertising

An incident on May 1, 2024 on Ryanair flight FR9177 from Dublin to Ibiza resulted in the Boeing 737-800, registration EI-EFK, being diverted to Palma de Mallorca after a group of passengers on board caused a disturbance.

The crew requested police assistance, which resulted in the removal of the disruptive passengers upon landing in Palma. Although the airline confirmed the incident, witnesses claim that the Civil Guard intervened and arrested the drunken passengers who had attacked a flight attendant.
