Heavy snowstorms in the eastern United States caused chaos over the weekend. Around 6.000 flights were canceled from Friday to Sunday for this reason.
A severe winter storm is currently sweeping across the east coast of the United States, and there are severe weather warnings for around 70 million people. A state of emergency has been declared in the states of New York and New Jersey. According to the Tagesschau, thousands of flights have been canceled since Friday due to the weather - almost 6.000 cancellations were counted. But failures do not only occur in the air.
