Lufthansa passengers will have to do without First Class on the USA routes until at least May 2021. The carrier relies on the Airbus A350-900 model because of the weak demand, which is also due to the entry bans. This does not have a first class on board.

All routes from Germany to the United States of America are affected. So far, only Chicago and Los Angeles have been affected. Now all routes, provided they do not pause anyway, are no longer served with the Boeing 747-8, but with the smaller Airbus A350-900, for example. The measure should last until at least April 30, 2021, reports the portal onemileatatime.com.
