The airports in Varna and Burgas operated by Fraport have got a new managing director in Frank Quante. The manager succeeds Ulrich Heppe, who headed the Fraport Twinstar Airports for several years.

The new Chief Executive Officer of the two Bulgarian airports did not join the Fraport Group until July 2020. Previously, he worked for a Turkish energy company as chief financial officer. "My goal is to manage and develop Fraport Bulgaria's two Bulgarian airports in the coming years and to continue our good partnership with the local communities in which we work," said Quante.
