The new Venezuelan airline Emtrasur Cargo has taken delivery of its first aircraft, the YV3531. It is a Boeing 747-3B3M, which was formerly used by Mahan Air as EP-MND.

The aircraft bears the serial number 23413 and was delivered to the French Union de Transports Aériens in 1986. This aircraft was in service with Air France until August 2006 before entering service in Iran in September 2007.

The background to the new foundation in Venezuela is, among other things, that the United States of America has imposed sanctions on Conviasa. Therefore, a new carrier was founded, which will mainly operate routes in the direction of China, Russia and Iran.
