The resurgence of demand in air traffic also means that delays, cancellations and significant changes in flight times are on the rise again. The consumer center North Rhine-Westphalia offers a special app that is supposed to help travelers.

This is available for Android smartphones and devices with the Apple iOS operating system. According to the consumer advice center, this should provide quick legal information in the event of delays, cancellations, changes in flight times, loss of luggage, but also in the case of bankruptcy of the airline. The tool is called the "Flugärger-App" and is available in the usual stores.

The application also contains a generator for letters to airlines, for example in order to be able to claim compensation payments according to EU-VO 261/2004. In the event of a no-show, sample letters for reclaiming taxes and fees can also be drawn up. Simple information can be called up by typing in the question.
