According to a statement from the local police, there has been a security breach at Bengaluru Airport in India. A woman was able to gain access to the security area with a fake boarding pass. The lady was arrested.

According to the police report, the lady's boyfriend is said to have taken a flight. She really wanted to accompany him until he boarded and is said to have forged a boarding pass in order to gain illegal access to the security area. For reasons that are not yet clear, she also managed to get through security and accompany the man to the gate.

But then she made a blatant mistake: After her boyfriend got on, she went back to security and explained that she had to leave the security area again because she had previously lost or forgotten her laptop. This made the officials suspicious and they explained to her that she first had to cancel her ticket with the airline. She was accompanied to a machine where she could check out. But the boarding pass wasn't recognized there because it wasn't real.

The securities then called the police. They then arrested the woman, who is now facing accusations such as forgery, fraud and forgery for the purpose of fraud. The local public prosecutor's office has yet to decide whether there are allegations of interference with aviation security. In any case, no objects were found on the lady that could have been dangerous in any way.
