Confused man threatens to bomb: Arlanda Terminal 5 evacuated

On Wednesday, January 17, 2024, Terminal 5 at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport had to be evacuated. A man threatened to use a bomb in the baggage carousel area.

Around 45 minutes after midnight, the police had to intervene and arrested the man. The authority announced that the unruly PAX apparently suffered from a mental illness and had invented numerous stories during the interrogation. In this regard, an assessment is carried out by a medical expert.
