Due to the current COVID-19 developments in Austria and the current measures regarding events, the aviation event planned for December 7, 2021 at Vienna Airport will be postponed: The new date is January 25, 2022.

International aviation experts, representatives from airports, airlines, service providers and technology companies will come together at the “Aviation Event 2021” at Vienna Airport to discuss current aviation trends - including State Secretary Magnus Brunner, Austrian Airlines CEO Alexis von Hoensbroech and many more. The event will take place in the AirportCity Space, the new event center at the airport, in compliance with all applicable COVID-19 rules.

“The international get-together of top-class aviation decision-makers and the personal exchange of experts are in the foreground at the aviation event. Unfortunately, the current COVID-19 regulations in Austria do not make such an event possible and we are therefore forced to postpone the aviation event to January 25, 2022. The pandemic will not be over by then, but we expect significant growth in passengers again with the start of the summer flight schedule in 2022. How COVID-19, digitization and climate protection will shape aviation in the future will be discussed at the aviation event in January and we look forward to welcoming many guests, ”explains Julian Jäger, CEO of Flughafen Wien AG.
