The start of the main travel season at Vienna Airport went well: the airport recorded a total of around 175.000 passengers on the first holiday weekend, which is around 85% of the pre-crisis level. There were no noteworthy irregularities.

That worked well, despite the high number of passengers, airport operations on the first weekend of the holiday went largely smoothly.
