Vienna International Airport now has another gastronomic offer: The "Wolfgang Puck Kitchen & Bar" was opened in the arrivals hall of Terminal 3. During a promotional period, guests of this restaurant can park for up to three hours free of charge.

The approximately 700 square meter catering facility also has a bar and a to-go area. Wolfgang Puck runs over 100 restaurants around the world, has a star on the Walk of Fame, and has been cooking for the stars of Oscar night in Hollywood for decades. The operation in Schwechat is the first at a European airport.

The operator is not Wolfgang Puck directly, but SSP, which has been active at Vienna-Schwechat Airport for many years. “I am very pleased that today we can open a restaurant in the place where my brother started his journey many years ago. I can hardly wait for Wolf to travel to Austria to visit the new restaurant and open it again in person as part of a grand opening. I hope guests enjoy what we have prepared for them here,” says Klaus Puck, President & COO and brother of Wolfgang Puck.

The menu offers signature dishes from Wolfgang Puck such as Tuna Tartar, Smoked Salmon Pizza with caviar, Chinois Salad, Wolfgang Puck Burger, but also local specialties from Wiener Schnitzel to beef goulash and Carinthian Kasnudeln from Wolfgang Puck's hometown. The bar offers signature cocktails such as Wolfgang Puck's legendary Bloody Mary, local and international beers on tap, as well as Wolfgang Puck wines from California and much more. In the to-go area, handmade smoothies, bowls, salads, sandwiches, breakfast and also vegetarian and vegan dishes are produced daily from fresh local ingredients. Wolfgang Puck has cooked two Michelin stars in his global career and now runs over 100 restaurants from America to Japan. In Europe he has been represented in Budapest since June 2021 and now also at Vienna Airport. His success story began in 1982 with the "Spago" in Los Angeles, which is still one of the most popular scene restaurants in Beverly Hills. For decades, Wolfgang Puck has been cooking for the stars of the Oscar night in Hollywood and now also for all guests at Vienna Airport.

Interested parties can experience Wolfgang Puck's high-quality cuisine even without departing or arriving at Vienna Airport: Guests visiting the new Wolfgang Puck Kitchen & Bar can park for three hours free of charge for purchases of 20 euros or more. The nearby car parks 3 and 4 can be used for this purpose, the opening campaign is initially valid for two months.

SSP is the largest catering partner at Vienna Airport and already successfully operates around three Jamie Oliver bars, Starbucks and Leberkaspepi in Terminal 3 and, more recently, Trzesniewski in the public area of ​​Terminal 2.
