Due to the tightening of the corona measures, some airlines in Vietnam are temporarily suspending flight operations. Pacific Airlines, VietJetAir and Bamboo Airways, among others, are affected.

The state-owned Vietnam Airlines and Vasco have received an exemption for the operation of some domestic routes. However, strict payload restrictions were imposed so that only a few passengers are allowed to be carried. The measures should remain in place until at least August 7, 2021.

A possible extension cannot be ruled out. In any case, most airlines have been temporarily banned from operating flights within Vietnam. The further development therefore remains to be seen.
