The British airline Virgin Atlantic will continue to offer the pure cargo connection, which was originally limited to the end of October 2022. As a rule, Airbus A321P2F operated by Titan Airways are used.
“We are very pleased with our successful partnership with Titan Airways. This operation has helped solidify our presence in the EU market and we will continue to explore how to serve Brussels with a mix of Titan Airways dedicated freighters and our own aircraft,” a Virgin spokesman told Air Cargo News.
The British carrier does not intend to offer the freight route on a regular basis, but on an ad hoc basis. In the future, depending on demand, the company wants to use its own aircraft as well as Airbus A321P2Fs rented from Titan Airways. Virgin Atlantic currently expects cargo demand to remain high.
