On December 24, 2024, Graz Airport invites you to the popular event "Waiting for Santa Claus". From 9:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m., families can shorten the time until the presents are given in a special way in the airport's departure hall.

In a Christmassy atmosphere, there are numerous activities for children and their accompanying adults: craft stations, a children's bakery and festive brass music will get you in the mood for Christmas Eve. There will also be airport tours and Christmas stories by Frederik Mellak.

The event is free, but donations are collected for the association "Kinder.leben auf Zeit", which is dedicated to palliative care for children and young people. A Christmas stand provides further entertainment with punch and snacks. The organizers Wolfgang Grimus and Jürgen Löschnig emphasize that the event helps to make the wait until Christmas Eve particularly pleasant for everyone present.
