The German airline, WDL Aviation, managed to find a client for wet lease flights in the middle of the Corona crisis. The carrier has been flying up to twice a day for Air France on the Strasbourg-Amsterdam route since July 3, 2020.

A few months ago, the owner Zeitfracht promoted the use of the German Airways umbrella brand for the flight operations Luftfahrtgesellschaft Walter and WDL. LGW had to file for bankruptcy in mid-April 2020 and is now being processed. WDL Aviation was able to take off again with the D-ACJJ (Embraer 190) and has so far been spared a similar fate, reports CH-Aviation.com. The long-term order for the Swedish regional airline BRA is likely to be lost, as this carrier had to file for bankruptcy in March 2020.
