Slowly but surely, more "life" is returning to Vienna-Schwechat Airport, because the Latvian airline Air Baltic is announcing its comeback and two destinations. The carrier had to temporarily suspend this due to the corona pandemic. From June 2, 2020, Tallin will be served again and from June 8, 2020, it will be back to Riga, according to Air Baltic in a press release.

Tickets that are purchased by May 31, 2020 can be rebooked once free of charge. The airline expressly points out that passengers must observe and comply with the current entry regulations.

“We offer the best connections to and from the Baltic States. In June we will connect the Baltic States with more than ten European destinations. By concentrating on a pure Airbus A220-300 fleet, we are well positioned for the new start ”, says Air Baltic CEO Martin Gauss. “The safety and health of our passengers, our employees and society come first. All of our passengers now receive a face mask and disinfectant wipes. Our new flight operations are following the recommendations of the authorities. "
