If there is no new CT at Lauda by Thursday, Ryanair will announce the addition of 64 additional FR routes from Vienna. A draft press release has already been sent to the social partners.

Should no agreement be reached between the Vida union and the Chamber of Commerce on the new Lauda collective agreement by Thursday, Ryanair will announce the addition of a total of 65 destinations in-house. A draft of the press release has already been sent to the social partners and Lauda employees.

The Warsaw-Modlin route was never planned as a “Lauda” route, but always with AL or FR flight numbers. Thus, Ryanair would announce on Thursday the addition of 64 additional routes, which are to be served by 18 Boeing 737-800s. Three of these planes would be stationed in Vienna and the other 15 would fly from other bases to the Austrian capital as part of their circulations.

According to the draft of the press release, Lauda tickets issued for the months of July, August and September will be rebooked on Ryanair flights. There could be changes in flight times. The Irish lowcoster would fly to 23 countries from Vienna - if there was no agreement on the collective agreement with the daughter Lauda. At Lauda, the employees would then lose their jobs.
