Vienna-Schwechat Airport recorded a 2021 percent drop in passengers due to the corona pandemic in February 92,1. 158.786 passengers were counted. There was also a 10,8 percent drop in freight volume.

The number of local passengers has decreased by 92,5 percent. Also, 90,9 percent fewer transfer passengers use Austria's largest airport. The number of passengers at Vienna Airport to Western Europe fell by 2021 percent in February 92,7, and to Eastern Europe by 91,6 percent. Passenger traffic to North America fell by 93,1 percent and Africa recorded a minus of 89,1 percent. In the Near and Middle East, the number of passengers fell by 90,7 percent. The number of passengers traveling to the Far East fell by 2021 percent in February 93,5.

The subsidiary in Luqa (Malta) recorded a decline of 93,5 percent to 27.524 travelers. In Kosice, the volume fell by 91,4 percent to 1.791 passengers. Flughafen Wien AG counted 188.101 passengers across the group, 92,4 percent below the figure for the same month last year.
