The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizz Air is postponing the inclusion of numerous routes offered from Vienna-Schwechat again. Among others, Cologne / Bonn, Dortmund, Warsaw, Oslo, Skavsta, Lisbon and Madrid are affected.

All of the routes mentioned should have been reactivated in July 2021 and early August 2021. Wizz Air has now postponed this to September 2021. It is not the first "delay" because the Hungarian lowcoster has been changing the start date a few weeks back for many months.

Since routes on which competitors such as Ryanair and Austrian Airlines can enjoy full aircraft are also affected, a connection with the shortage of flight attendants cannot be ruled out. The carrier is in Vienna looking for cabin crew and currently has too few staff across the network. That's why you're hired strengthens wet-lease aircraft.
