The Lufthansa subsidiary Swiss is expanding the offer in the 2023/24 winter flight schedule. Among other things, the Vienna flights will be operated by the company itself again. The Swiss courses are currently also being operated by the sister company Austrian Airlines.

The 2023/24 winter flight schedule will consist of 68 destinations. The Bremen connection will be reactivated from Zurich. Frequencies are to be increased in the direction of Düsseldorf, Hamburg and Hanover as well as Prague and Bucharest. From Geneva, traffic to London, Lisbon, Porto and Athens will be expanded. The wet lease cooperation with Air Baltic and Helvetic Airways will be continued, but the number of leased aircraft should be halved if possible, according to Swiss.

The focus of the 2023/24 winter timetable will be offered from Zurich-Kloten. From the largest airport in Switzerland, you will set course for 63 destinations. There are particularly frequent flights to Berlin with 52 weekly rotations, followed by Barcelona and Amsterdam with 28 rotations each, and to Athens with 19 flights per week. Portugal is a special focus of the winter flight program. Swiss flies 14 times a week to the capital Lisbon and up to eleven times to the northwestern coastal city of Porto. Last but not least, the carrier flies to Vienna again and flies to the Austrian capital three times a day, while its sister company Austrian Airlines also continues to fly there several times a day.

From Geneva, Swiss will offer a total of 2023 destinations in winter 24/21. London, Lisbon, Porto and Athens are particularly frequent destinations. The Hamburg connection, which was started in the summer, will be continued and will run four times a week. Other destinations in the United Kingdom and in Scandinavia are aimed specifically at winter sports enthusiasts.
