The holiday airline Condor will use brand-new Airbus A2022-23 long-haul aircraft for scheduled flight operations for the first time in the 330/900 winter timetable. This type is gradually replacing the aging Boeing 767.

Condor is renewing the fleet in two steps. In the first step, the machine type Boeing 767 is replaced by brand new Airbus A330neo. temporarily used A330 the company will give it back. In the second phase, the carrier floats A320neo and A321neo a. In return, Boeing 757s and older A320s will leave the fleet. First glimpses of the A330neo cabin can be found in this article.

The available flight plan data shows the routes that are to be served with Airbus A330neo according to current information. Since short-notice aircraft changes are possible at any time and there are still a few weeks to go before the start of the 2022/23 winter flight schedule, changes cannot be ruled out. People who absolutely want to fly with this type should therefore contact Condor directly before making a booking.

It is currently planned that the leisure airline will use the Airbus A330-900 from Frankfurt am Main on the following routes: Cancun, Cape Town, Tobago via Grenada, Male, Mauritius, Santo Domingo via Puerta Plata, Punta Cana, Seattle and Mombasa via Zanzibar. It should also be noted that not all frequencies should be flown with Airbus A330-900. Interested parties should therefore pay close attention to the specified aircraft when booking and, if necessary, consult Condor.

I found out before booking whether the Frankfurt-Grenada route was flown with neo, and Condor also explicitly advertised it - all of a sudden I see a different seat in my booking - I only booked Business Claas for that reason - now it's fine but another, old aircraft 😡
I find it pretty cheeky 😤

We felt the same way. The flight from Frankfurt to Cape Town was already offered in the summer for February 330 with the new Airbus A2023 neo. We then booked four seats in Premium Economy. Now the surprise, now the flight is planned with an old Boeing 767, and we suddenly have a different seat than booked. Great, as a customer you don't really have a good feeling about that. I will no longer book with Condor in the future.
