The tour operator Schauinsland will be offering charter flights to Punta Cana from Düsseldorf and Munich from October 2021. According to the press release, the operating airline is Condor. There are to be two flights a week from NRW and once from Munich.

“We are very pleased that we were able to set up these important connections to the Caribbean and Thailand together with Condor. We have a positive outlook on the coming winter season and would like to send a clear, strong signal with two full charters to popular long-distance travel destinations and show the flag for travel. The bookings received in the last few weeks clearly show that vacation trips are in great demand again from autumn onwards. This encourages us all the more in our decision to offer these connections to the Caribbean and Thailand in the winter season. With the non-stop connection to Phuket, we are also creating a flight offer that will be available for the first time from Düsseldorf ”, says Andreas Rüttgers, Head of Tourism at Schauinsland-Reisen.

Long-haul Boeing 767-300 jets are used. The tour operator offers both package tours and plane tickets. Passengers from Austria and Switzerland are to be brought to Düsseldorf and Munich with feeder flights.
