The Hungarian lowcoster Wizz Air does not fly to Linz-Hörsching Airport on a scheduled basis. On Tuesday, however, the carrier was visiting Upper Austria with HA-LYK. A charter flight was carried out on behalf of the football club FC Cluj.

The Airbus A6 flew from Cluj to Linz on Tuesday afternoon under flight number W803 320. After a short stay, it went back to the Romanian city as the W6 802. On board were athletes and officials from FC Cluj.

Before the corona pandemic, charter flights operated by Wizz Air were very rare. The low-cost airline largely stayed out of this segment. In the middle of the crisis, the lowcoster even began to advertise charter on the home page of the homepage. According to the management, orders are accepted selectively in order to better utilize the fleet.
