The Hungarian airline Wizz Air will fly three times a week from Dortmund to Rome-Fiumicino (FCO) from September 5th.

Travelers arrive in the Eternal City on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays after a flight of almost two hours. In addition to Bari and Catania (Sicily), Rome is the third destination in Italy offered by Wizz Air from Dortmund. "In addition to the recently added travel destination Venice - which is offered by Eurowings - we are pleased to be able to welcome the Italian capital to our flight schedule." adds Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services and Marketing at Dortmund Airport. “Many of us had a pent-up desire to travel during the Corona pandemic. It is all the nicer that we can offer our customers a diverse and exciting range at the right time.”
