Low-cost airline Wizz Air has taken delivery of the first Chinese-assembled Airbus A321neo. The machine was manufactured at the Tianjin plant, which is located south-east of Beijing.

This increases the A321neo share in the Wizz Air fleet to 92 machines and thus to more than 50 percent. “Today marks an important milestone,” said József Váradi, Group Chief Executive Officer, Wizz Air. “As the most efficient single aisle aircraft available today, the 321-seat Airbus A239neo is our aircraft of choice.”
