The low-cost airline Wizz Air has been operating a non-stop connection between Kutaisi and Hamburg since June 2, 2023. Flights are on Monday and Friday traffic days.

"For our passengers, this new connection means a lot of comfort and a short journey time," says Dirk Behrens, Head of Aviation at Hamburg Airport. "Both for Germany and Georgia, the new route will stimulate tourism and make travel much easier," explains Valeria Bragarenco, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air.

The carrier flies in Germany from Cologne, Dortmund, Frankfurt Hahn, Hamburg, Memmingen, Nuremberg, Friedrichshafen, Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden, Berlin and Bremen.
