The low-cost airline Wizz Air plans to offer a total of 2021 destinations in 45 countries from Dortmund between April and October 24. At this airport, the lowcoster has the first and so far only base on German soil.

“We assume that the number of goals will increase over the next few weeks and months. But passengers already have a wide variety of destinations at their disposal, ”says Guido Miletic, Head of Airport Services and Marketing at Dortmund Airport.

“Of course, we want to give our passengers maximum flexibility, especially during these times,” explains Wizz Air spokesman Andras Rado, referring to the fee-based Flex package, which allows rebooking and cancellation up to three hours before departure. However, there is then no repayment, but the passengers receive a credit.
