59 Airbus A320ceo and 34 A321ceo are currently still in use at Wizz Air Hungary. Their capacity could soon be replaced with the help of another large Neo order. The group is currently in negotiations with Airbus about a large order.

In addition, Reuters reports, citing appropriate sources, that discussions are ongoing about at least 100 narrowbodies. The former Wizz Air Hungary boss Stephen Jones emphasized in the previous year that existing neo orders are conducive to growth and also said that the entire fleet is leased.

It is therefore not surprising that Wizz Air is looking for a replacement for the still outnumbered Ceo fleet in terms of capacity. The leasing contracts will gradually expire over the next few years. The group of companies is waiting for the takeover of numerous Neo machines that have been ordered, including the A321XLR, but they seem to want to continue growing.

Neither Airbus nor Wizz Air wanted to officially comment on the information from Reuters. You only point out that discussions with customers or with the manufacturer are common, but you do not want to make any specific comments.
