While other airlines are hesitant to restart, the Hungarian low-cost airline Wizzair has announced two new bases.

The Hungarian low-cost airline Wizzair has announced two new bases. The carrier is setting up its 28th base in Larnaka and adding ten new routes, including Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden and Memmingen.

The two Airbus A320s will support the operation of ten new routes to Athens, Thessaloniki, Billund, Copenhagen, Dortmund, Memmingen, Karlsruhe / Baden Baden, Suceava, Turku and Wroclaw, whereby a total of one million seats will be available from Larnaka in 2020 .

The carrier will set up base number 29 at Milan-Malpensa Airport. A total of 20 new routes will be added. The five Airbus A321 aircraft will operate twenty new routes to London Luton, Eindhoven, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Mahon, Tenerife, Valencia, Athens, Corfu, Rhodes, Santorini, Thessaloniki, Zakynthos, Reykjavík, Lisbon, Porto, Pristina, Support Marrakech, Tallinn, Tel Aviv and thus offer a total of 28 destinations from Milan Malpensa.
