The British low-cost airline Wizzair UK opens a base at Doncaster-Sheffield Airport. In addition to London-Luton, it is the second base of the “Brexit offshoot” of the Hungarian lowcoster. 

For the time being, an Airbus A320 is to be stationed. The existing route network is to be expanded by seven destinations. The carrier has been present in Doncaster Sheffield for 14 years and currently serves ten routes. Wizzair UK's fleet now consists of seven Airbus A321s and four Airbus A320s.
