The low-cost airline Ryanair is launching a special flight to Cardiff on the occasion of the football World Cup qualifier between Wales and Austria. This will be carried out on March 24, 2022 (outward flight) and March 25, 2022 (return flight) with an Airbus A320 from Lauda Europe.

Tickets can be booked on the Ryanair homepage. The price is currently EUR 138,99 per direction. “Austria's most popular airline has the perfect Christmas present for all Austrian football fans with direct flights to the decisive World Cup 2022 qualifier in Cardiff next March. After an impressive performance by the Austrian national team at this year's EM, the chances of getting one of the last 3 remaining tickets for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar are very good. Wales and Austria will now face each other in the 2022 World Cup qualifier in Cardiff and due to the great demand from fans for this game, we have set up our own return flight. Our special flight starts on Thursday, March 24th in Vienna and returns from Cardiff on Friday, March 25th, ”explains Andreas Gruber, Ryanair.
