The Iberostar subsidiary World2Fly took over the first long-haul Airbus A350-900 jet on Wednesday. The machine is leased from Air Lease Corporation. An aircraft of the same construction is to be handed over shortly.

The airline with its home base on the island of Mallorca will use the two leased A350s on long-haul routes from Madrid to leisure destinations such as Punta Cana (Dominican Republic), Cancun (Mexico) and La Habana (Cuba).

The A350-900 from World2fly is characterized by a modern and extremely comfortable single-class cabin with 432 seats. Passengers enjoy more personal space, wide seats and absolute well-being on board and enjoy the latest generation of in-flight entertainment and connectivity. The cabin of the A350 Airspace is the quietest of all twin aisle aircraft and offers passengers and crew the best flight experience.
