On behalf of Ryanair, the Maltese company Lauda Europe carried out the maiden flight between Zagreb and Dortmund on Friday. This route is to be operated with the Airbus A320 on Monday and Friday.

“Ryanair has gradually expanded its service from Dortmund over the past few years. Now travelers can choose from a wide variety of destinations, ”explains DTM Marketing Director Guido Miletic. The route to Vienna is also served by Lauda Europe. Other routes that Ryanair offers from Dortmund include Krakow, Katowice and London-Stansted.

Lauda Europe is currently building three new bases. These are in destination, Zadar and London Stansted. Those in Vienna and Palma de Mallorca have been taken over from the predecessor Laudamotion. Stuttgart and Düsseldorf were in the course of the AOC change resolved. As a result, many German pilots and flight attendants have lost their jobs.
