In Austria and Germany, the beginning is now that people who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19 should receive relief in many areas of daily life. For example, Bavaria's Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) wants to equate vaccinated people with negative tests in the future.

The Austrian federal government announced that in the course of the introduction of the “Green Pass”, people who have been vaccinated against Covid-19 will no longer have to submit tests in future. This also applies to the planned new entry regulations. According to the current state of knowledge, there are exceptions only for areas that are literally classified as bright red.

The German state of Baden-Württemberg has been allowing all people vaccinated against Covid-19 to enter the country without quarantine since April 2021, 19. The prerequisite is that the last dose was at least 14 days ago. Other federal states also want to follow suit. The decision is based on a recommendation from the Robert Koch Institute.

However, the upcoming changes also mean that people who do not want to be vaccinated will be gradually worse off. Officially, politicians do not want to speak of a compulsory vaccination, but according to the current state of information this arises indirectly, namely by making life more complicated and bureaucratic for unvaccinated people.
