While other companies are decommissioning their fleets, a Pilatus PC-12 is now strengthening the fleet of the Zeitfracht flight school German Flight Camp.

The aircraft is a multi-purpose aircraft from the Swiss aircraft manufacturer Pilatus Aircraft with a propeller, the “single engine turbine”. The Zeitfracht aircraft is already equipped with the new and globally unique seven-blade propeller from MT-Propeller from Straubing, which has just received EASA approval. The special features of the PC-12 include the 1200 hp turboprop engine and the spacious pressurized cabin. Both of these factors make the turboprop a very versatile and efficient aircraft.

The turboprop has a length of 14,40 meters and a wingspan of 16,28 meters. It weighs almost 3.000 kilograms when empty and can start with a maximum weight of 4.740 kilograms. It has a range of almost 3.000 kilometers and flies up to an altitude of just over 9000 meters with a consumption of just 250 liters of kerosene per hour, making the turboprop one of the most efficient aircraft of this size, the company announced today.

Didn't the aviation experts at Zeitfracht also shut down a fleet, namely that of LGW with 15 aircraft and ~ 500 employees?

The wording "Reinforcement of the fleet with a PC-12 while other companies are reducing their fleet" sounds a bit wrong and unfortunate.

In times of Corona, people are now trying to send a positive signal. However, I think about 400 people see it differently. Because if you look closely, the Zeitfracht Group already put this on the road in July 2020 and razed an aviation company to the ground.
Therefore, such a purchase is rather very questionable and has an extremely bland aftertaste.
One should rather invest in one's own healthy core than further develop a flight school that either does not train students and if they do, they will not have a chance on the market for the time being.
