Edelweiss, in cooperation with Flying Bag, is now offering all guests flying via Zurich Airport luggage collection at home or in a Swiss hotel.

In addition to luggage transport to the airport, luggage check-in and safe delivery to any Edelweiss destination is also ensured. The provider cites the following advantages as advantages: no lugging around on arrival at the airport and no unnecessarily long waiting times when checking in luggage. Passengers select the pick-up time window on the day before or even on the day of the flight and hand their luggage over to the driver. These journeys can also be CO₂ compensated.

The offer not only includes picking up the luggage in Switzerland, but also the luggage journey home can be booked, as reported by the Swiss travel portal About Travel. Passengers check in their baggage at the destination as usual. In Zurich, Flying Bag takes over the luggage at the issue belt and transports it to the desired destination in Switzerland. This means that the journey home can also take place without luggage.
