Zurich-Kloten Airport was used by 2021 travelers in February 192.558. In direct comparison with the same month last year, this was 90,4 percent fewer passengers. The largest airport in Switzerland also recorded a decline of 17,6 percent to 28.602 tonnes in the freight sector.

The number of local passengers fell by 2021 percent to 88,8 passengers in February 161.353. The proportion of those who switched was 15,3 percent - a decrease of 13,1 percentage points. 29.120 travelers were counted who changed aircraft in Zurich. In direct comparison with the same month last year, a decrease of 94,9 percent.

The number of flight movements fell compared to the same month last year by 74,7 percent to 4.720 take-offs or landings. There were an average of 81 passengers on board the aircraft, 34,2 percent fewer than in February 2020. The load factor deteriorated by 28,8 percentage points to 44,2 percent.
